The hotel is a mix of highs and lows. While the rooms lacked ventilation and natural light, they were well-appointed and decorated in a slightly tired traditional style. The location, right next to Chinatown, offered easy access to various attractions, but the dining experience was pricey and not worth the cost.

The hotel location is fantastic, close to China town and with excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are a bit small for two people but compensated by the amazing staff members. The dining experience offers a mix of Western and Chinese options but could be improved. The location is superb, close to multiple hawker centers and a quick walk to Chinatown Metro Station, making it easy to access main attractions.

The room was quite small, with no natural light, and I faced an issue with being charged twice, although they did promise a refund. The cleanliness was not great, making me want to spend as little time as possible in the room.

My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were lovely, and I even had a local smartphone provided with unlimited data and calls in Singapore, although the lack of natural light due to just a skylight made me a bit apprehensive about feeling claustrophobic. The ground floor rooms can be noisy from other guests passing by, which might not be ideal for visitors with little kids.
